1. Data Accessed

Our application requests access to specific Google user data to perform its core functions:

• Google Analytics 4 Data (Read-only): We access your GA4 properties, metadata, and report data to analyze your event implementation.
• Google Sheets (Write/Access): We request permission to create and update spreadsheets to export your generated tagging plans.
• Basic Profile Information: We access your email address and name to manage your authentication and session.

2. Data Usage & Processing

We use the accessed data exclusively to provide the audit service. The data is processed in real-time to reverse-engineer your tagging plan and calculate data reliability scores. We do not use this data for any other purpose, such as marketing, profiling, or training machine learning models.

3. Data Storage & Protection

Zero-Retention Policy: We do not store your Google Analytics data on our servers or in any database. All analytics data is processed in-memory (RAM) during your active session. Your OAuth tokens are stored securely in encrypted browser sessions to maintain your connection while you use the tool.

4. Data Sharing

GA4 Tagging Plan Auditor does not share, sell, or trade your Google user data with any third-party companies, advertisers, or external services. All data stays within the Google ecosystem (from Google Analytics to the tool, and then to your Google Sheets).

5. Data Retention & Deletion

Since we do not store analytics data, retention is limited to the duration of your browser session. Users can revoke access at any time via their Google Account security settings. If you wish to request the deletion of the minimal metadata (email) used for your account, please contact us at trackmadata@gmail.com.
